Instead of letting my kid say things like “100 million trillion,” I encouraged her to use the correct large number terms—like quadrillion, quintillion, etc. Now, she tends to exaggerate with these words. The other day, she said, “Dad, I saw a googolplex of mosquitoes at school today!”

While there's little sign of elevated UI continued claims in the national data, there is a significant uptick in UI claims for DC (four-week average). Regular state continued claims rose just 6.2% overall, but by 94.4% in DC. Federal funding cuts are already having an impact. #EconSky #NumbersDay
