I wouldn’t have thought the reload strange things guy would be into quantum physics. Very very cool.

I get the feeling that a lot of younger people are pushing towards the republicans not just because of the fact that social media has become a dumping ground for far right misinformation, but also because republicans have put real effort into getting older members out whereas dems have refused.

I have one that looks just like her. Silver poodle type breeds are really pretty. Do you know they start out black?

Again, this isn’t an argument about whether or not private firearm ownership is good, this is just an argument about how this article feels disingenuously framed. If a weapon can misfire, it is far more dangerous in the hands of cops who point it at people than civilians who point it down range
comment in response to
post
So I think the framing of this story as “gun deemed to dangerous for police is sold to civilians” is bad faith arguing because civilians with guns don’t tend to point them at other people, and a misfire going off down range is far less of a problem than towards a person.

During the war on terror America and American media manufactured consent for the wholesale curtailing of civil liberties so long as that curtailing of civil liberties was done in the name of “stopping terrorism.” We are now at a point where vocal critics of trumps regime are called terrorists.

This is good because that 34 or so percent that would always show up in a bunch of polls and give pro trump answers is down to 24 percent which is significant in my book.

I’m a New Yorker and I know for a fact cuomo will win. This is because New York City runs on a simple heuristic for mayoral elections, and that heuristic hasn’t failed me yet. That being “given a choice of democrats, New York City will, without fail, always pick the worst choice possible.”

At first I thought Schumer was old and out of touch but in his own brain he thought he was doing the right thing; I was wrong, bastard is complicit and actively ratfucking the country in the hope that him placating maga might save his own career.

The irony of capitalism as an economic system is it’s always the most Gung ho defenders of it who are objectively the worst at actually making it work.

I also can’t stand the way in which “preservatives” and “artificial” have become catch all terms for “unhealthy” because pretty much every food additive that exists is scientifically proven to not be harmful to humans and have a useful purpose. This anti science shit even convinced well meaning libs

Thank you for this post because I am tired of having to explain to anarchists that urban farming isn’t the solution to food insecurity.

I sometimes wonder if the Republican Party is purposely acting like comic book villains and then I remember many comic book villains were modeled off the nazis so in a way it tracks.

It’s crazy that Aoc and sanders are touring the country and pulling record crouds in red areas on an anti billionaire message and in response mainstream dems are embracing culture war bigotry as a way to desperately keep their toxic politics relevant. Shameful.

Japan literally tried far more comprehensive subsidies for people to have children than a 1 time payment of 5000 dollars and it hasn’t actually done anything.

As a Harris disliker and a newsome hater I think Harris should go for an office she can win rather than dragging down the presidency again.

Like I’m not even a fan of hasan, I used to be a fan of Ethan but from what I have seen from the controversy hasan is just sitting there trying not to actively engage while Ethan is refusing to drop his crusade after years.
comment in response to
post
I think you only watched things from G3’s side because looking at this as someone who doesn’t watch either streamer that often all I have seen is hasan making occasional cheap shots at Ethan while Ethan dedicated hours of content to defaming hasan and riling up his followers
comment in response to
post
Why should hasan watch a vindictive hate video on him if he doesn’t even want to be part of the controversy. If you’d at all watch his stream you would know that he is actively annoyed by chatters that try that. He is bringing it up more now because Ethan has been at it for over a year now.
comment in response to
post
Like hasan didn’t watch the content nuke because he doesn’t want to feed into the drama because he has better things to do than to deal with Ethan’s bullshit. Again, chats toxicity towards Ethan is on a completely different level from Ethan directing his chat to engage in that behavior.
comment in response to
post
Hasan refused to curtail the toxicity towards Ethan after Ethan had already directed his followers to harass hasan and try to get him banned from twitch, hasan himself stayed out of the controversy for a very long time while Ethan was directly dragging hasan through the mud.
comment in response to
post
Second the conflict started as a political disagreement that pushed hasan and Ethan apart but it was Ethan who started to personally attack relentlessly for months straight, got his followers to relentlessly harass him, and threw his weight around to try to deplatform him.
comment in response to
post
First of all the relatively mild shit those people said is nothing compared to the onslaught of times hasan and his friends have been called terrorists by Ethan and his sycophantic followers to the point where bringing it up is irrelevant. It’s kinda a proxy for the Gaza genocide in that way.
comment in response to
post
Like what idubbbz has done to Ethan In this video in terms of dragging names through the mud is nothing compared to what Ethan has been doing to hasan, and pretty much all the rest of his critics for the past year.
comment in response to
post
I’m not sure you watched the video because he pointed out how it’s not Ethan’s politics but his trying to deputize his former friends to call out his critics and using his wealth to sue people that is why he is doing the video.
comment in response to
post
He made a content cop because Ethan was going around and trying to deputize his friends to call out random people he didn’t like, and how that behavior was deeply problematic to the friendship, something you would know if you’d watched the video.
