Salvatori's in Sarnia, Ontario (across the river from Port Huron, MI). They were a small, family-run Italian restaurant that made everything homemade and served it family-style. Such good pasta and sauces and desserts. They retired the business last year before I could get back for one more meal.

I sometimes forgot that rabbits have such really long legs, as they are so often tucked down into the grass, munching on clover. One local bun skittered across the side road one evening and it took me a moment to realize it was a rabbit and not a strange-looking cat.

I try to walk the beach nearly every weekend despite the weather, just to get some calm. In the summer it's crazy busy with visitors, but it calms down by the evening so you can swim or chill with a book.

Insects are a valid source of protein, especially in other cultures/parts of the world. At University of Guelph (my university), the Food Science Dept was experimenting with edible insects as protein additives. Mealworm oatmeal cookies and cricket popcorn are great. What's the problem?
