We USED to be a nation that stood up to dictators. Now we have a POS-POTUS who idolizes them, and is doing everything he can to become one himself. One case in point is the multi-million-dollar military parade he insisted on in his first term to show off to his heroes, Kim & Putin.

My dad was a Marine in the South Pacific in WWII. He lost several friends who drowned from jumping out of the landing crafts which let them off too far from shore in deeper water. They were among many who were pulled down to their deaths by their heavy gear.

Beautiful photo! The one time I was able to visit Glacier NP, it was socked in with fog. I remember seeing the shadows of a few bison in the distance, and that was pretty much all of the wildlife we saw.
