I was more of a two-face guy myself. The coin handle was the height of luxury.

Again, it's extraordinary -- having this kind of arm power and accuracy will nab 9/10 players on that same play. It will nab 10/10 DJ LeMahieus.

Unfortunately LeMahieu has some blackmail on someone in the Yankees org because that's the only reason I can imagine he's still there.

I saw him rehab at AA a couple of the games. Seems like a genuinely good dude - spent a lot of time with the fans and could see him interacting a lot with other players in the dugout, but if he doesn't get this straightened out now, he'll be lucky to finish his career above a .225 BA.

Then there's a major disconnect because every at-bat Chisolm is coming out of shoes swinging for the fences. They need to do something because they had a players-only meeting and still only got two hits against a guy who *lowered* his ERA to 5.38 and then 1 hit against the bullpen after that.

Cashman keeps trading the farm. One of our best pitchers last year was Fitts and he went to the Red Sox with Weissert for Verdugo. We gave up Agustin Ramirez for Jazz and he's having a better year than both Wells or Jazz. And Narvaez got traded to the Sox and he's doing better than all 3.

The farm actually has a lot of talent right now. Let me give just one example to explain why it's philosophy. Ben Rice, I go to a lot of minor league games, I've seen him progress. He once led the minors in doubles. Shows his pop end of last season - gets jacked - and now only tries to go deep.

I don't think it is. The way they are taking at bats right this whole season wasn't sustainable. Judge was going to inevitably slump and you can't have 8 other guys trying to be Judges. Goldschmidt's empty, Lemahieu is cooked, Stanton was never going to be the savior. Need a shake-up to wake-up.

They never had this kind of run drought even in the 2014 season they fired Long. You can rehash a decade old argument of whether he didn't deserve to be the scapegoat or not but you can't argue that they are having worse at bats now than they did under Long.

I had finally found a copy of the first appearance of Asbestos Man (Strange Tales #111) at a show years back. The comic vendors always assumed I was saying the wrong number because Strange Tales #110 is the first appearance of Doctor Strange, but no, I wanted that asbestos net and asbestos shield.

If only you were in a position of power to *do something* about it.

lol it's a fun novelty to do once but beyond that they're not very useful and are planned to be phased out.

I mean, they've gotta be disappointed in the end result.

We were getting ear infections with our son so close together that they had to keep switching up the antibiotics to make sure he wouldn't develop a resistance to them. He got the ear tube surgery and hasn't had another infection in 9 months. Unreal that anyone could be against it.
