I think it really depends on what compute workloads predominate the data center. Batch workloads like training AI models should be pretty interruptible.

The more accurate takes I've seen is that China is investing the most—by far—in clean energy and EVs. This is true. It's also true, at the same time, that they're still building a bunch of fossil fuel plants.
