I’m saying 4-0. I’m refusing to accept that VAR decision.

Im not talking about some clandestine lock in. I’m talking about plenty of bars at 1am on a Tuesday. You just sound like you’ve never actually been tbh. And if you have you’ve never ventured beyond Leicester Square. I’ve been plenty of cities all over the world and few have the same nightlife.

Not if you know where to go. You can drink all night every night of the week if you want.

MIDNIGHT? What time do you wake up?

I really don’t understand the timings of this. On a school night especially. How many hours sleep do people get? Do you go to bed immediately after eating?

The whole point is that people can engage how they want, irrespective of what you believe. You want to be to adhere to your rules. You think because people have to engage in the real world they should have to here. That’s not how autonomy works.

‘We live in a world of duality’. I was not aggressive and did not attack you personally. I noted that the person who posted had autonomy to do what she wanted and you immediately tried to force your own value system onto her. I’ll repeat, she can do what she wants.

Mate, she can do what she wants. Stop trying to conflate social media and real life.

I’d rather not be bombarded with racism, homophobia and misogyny in the name of ‘free speech’ as soon as I open the app thanks. You are enabling nazis.

Intent matters. Difference of opinion is great. It’s the intent that matters. They aren’t hard to spot.

What he actual means is:
‘The only people complaining are those with the power to and not those who are too afraid to speak out, or those complicit.’

This would have happened anyway, irrespective of the budget. Reeves is not to blame for that. Artificially low interest rates for over a decade lulled people into a false sense of security and inflated asset prices. They had to normalise. Interest rates at 4-5% are far from extreme.

People should have autonomy to engage with whoever they want. You know, like in real life.

People should be more worried about the labour market and immigration policy. The US have relied on immigration, especially post pandemic. They are now banking on a higher participation rate. How do they entice people back into the market without increasing wages?
