I also think this might be why there initial was confusion about which team he cheered for... its possible (likely) that people close to him were asked if he was a Cubs fan, and they said yes. But they never asked about the Sox until his brothers said he was a Sox fan.

I dont think he hates the Cubs. I think he's one of those types who celebrated all things about his hometown as he moved further and further away from it. White Sox were clearly his preferred team. But the Cubs also wear Chicago on their chest.

So much of this isn't accurate.

11 of the next 14 are the Pirates, Brewers, and Cardinals ... So, they better scorch.

He's got a good arm. Beyond that, he benefits from MLF's scheme, DBs falling down, and DBs dropping balls he throws right at them.

Pretty sure it was Matt Miller.

Dane Brugler had him 12th on his big board. Lance Zeurlein had the Bears taking him at 10. Matt Miller vocally had him ahead of Warren. And those are just a few high-profile examples.

Request something that doesn't exist. Cry about a cover-up when it isn't produced... because it doesn't exist. Rinse. Repeat.

I've acknowledged literally everything you just typed. You're talking in circles. 👋

1. Reinstating the rule would ban the play. Suggesting otherwise is wrong. 2. Fan bases aren't asking for the play to be banned; teams are. 3. I'm aware of what the proposal is. I've acknowledged it every time you've said it. My initial comment, which was solely about the old rule, stands.

What's changed is an escalation over the past number of years, causing most plays to look like a rugby scrum. Again, it isn't just this specific play. It's all of it. It has clearly escalated. To me, it's like carrying in the NBA. Do Refs call it? No. But if you get rid of it, it'll get worse.

Referees occasionally missing a call is not a valid reason to remove the rule entirely.

Pushing, especially w/ this play, is quite easy to spot. It's also incredibly easy to spot when a pile is being pushed- when a RB would otherwise clearly be stopped. As for your argument about GB specifically targeting this play, I get it. I'd just be in favor of the whole act being banned.

The general concept of pushing a ball carrier forward is what was changed - which is all the tush push is. Pulling is also tough to spot and rarely called. Yet that rule stuck around.

There was also no reason to change the rule that allows it, either.

There's a whole ass philosophical razor that says the exact opposite of this clown.

I don't get "a say" in what is or isn't grounds for induction because I don't have a vote. I do "get to" say whatever I feel like on my account. Hope that helps. As for the arguments for his candidacy, those are literally the points of the person I'm responding to.
