I have long wished that the Democrats were half as radical leftist as every Republican seems to think they are. It does not matter how far right they go, the conservatives will keep moving the goalposts until we have no rights left.

Threads is like the corner of your brain that still remembers the Old Navy performance fleece song. Just corporate rot

What is the advantage of approving some appointments? Genuine question--I'm not very familiar with the process and nuances

What a laughably bad take

I think it's even simpler: they *are* Nazis, and they're mocking the media who won't call them what they are, and they're mocking their current and future victims for their perceived helplessness

I have often said that a key characteristic of happy people is a passion for unnecessary information.

Part of the problem with "Democrats" just being "GOP Lite" -- a useless party that is also obsessed with the economy, and by economy they mean stock prices. All propped up by the same billionaires and corporations. Just slightly more publicly presentable and less outwardly ridiculous.

This is like the ultimate manager brain. Not only do your employees not work when you’re not staring directly at them - but they don’t even exist!

You mean the media that is repeatedly refusing to call a Nazi salute, a Nazi salute?

Like this is a bad false dichotomy that makes me suspicious of your broader claim that we really oughta just forget about the egregious mistakes of the mainstream media and just be thankful that we have a working media at all. That isn't the standard.

Agreed. Although I wish the article also mentioned respirator masks, which are highly effective at preventing the spread of airborne diseases. (In contrast, our current COVID vaccines don't prevent spread well)

Yeah, but Instacart and similar services are pretty bad for the drivers. They're classified as "independent contractors" and that allows all sorts of labor exploitation

If you are at an event where someone on stage gives a Hitler salute and that person is not dragged off by security and kicked out, you are at a Nazi rally.

Very disappointed that Hank and John don’t wear masks anymore, despite the battle with cancer and their work on tuberculosis, which is also airborne

Did they not bother to vote? Or were their votes suppressed?
