We need to win the 6th Congressional District. I’ve had my eye on that for months. We flip that, swing district Republicans break from Trump to save their seats, Democrats have greater negotiating power in future spending bills. That’s why I’ve posted non-stop about the special elections.

Ron, I’ve been covering these special elections for months. We caught them sleeping! Now we just need to win and hopefully that will convince the swing district Republicans to break with Trump to save their own seats.

Plus Randy Fine didn’t bother to campaign or raise money for months while Josh Weil slowly built up momentum. Fine was asked by a reporter what issues were important to the district and he said he didn’t care and that he was only there to serve Donald Trump. Fine is the worst candidate imaginable.

Even if Kinzinger didn’t change parties, I would still vote for him if he were running in my state. Kinzinger has morals and integrity. If we have learned one thing over the past 10 years, integrity is far more important than policy.
