I think she's going to set up Eva as Eva's prints will be on the helmet. She's playing Eva bigtime.

Thanks Carrie. I've also had incurable lymphoma for 10 years! I get immunotherapy when it kicks up. I had surgery and chemo for 3B colon cancer 4 years ago. I still keep my own house and gardens. Life is good.

And none of these nincompoops know if he did or not.
An aggressive cancer grows so quickly. Mine grew from no score on tests and no visuals on CTs to stage 3B in 4 months.

I can't believe Mika and Joe trying conclude that President Biden hid his cancer during his presidency.
Fact: I had clear tests and scans in Aug and that same Nov was diagnosed with Stage 3B colon cancer. Aggressive cancers grow fast in elderly. I'm 80. So stop the cynical backstabbing.

Just to add, I had clear tests and scans 6 months before I was found to have stage 3B colon cancer. Aggressive cancer can grow very fast in elderly. I'm 80. How dare you accuse Mr Biden of hiding his cancer during his presidency.
Bottom feeders....I'm done with you.

Sorry. You did me in with you initial accusation that Joe Biden hid his cancer during his presidency. Mika, Joe et al.....go straight to hell.

They said that tomorrow another candidate (name and picture shown) will be on the show. Patience.

You didn't hear them say the other candidate (they showed his pic and said his name) will be on their show tomorrow?

I would agree racism (also sexism) played a part.
But I think inflation hurt us badly. And I agree we need grassroots-bottom line candidates. That "elitist" tag hurt us. I'm convinced of it. Seems ridiculous with millionaires in control but it was their "elitist" message that got through.
Sigh.

Eugene Daniels is a Democrat, per his Politico statement.
I see nothing wrong with people who are fiscally conservative but not MAGA. They aren't evil vermin.
I don't have to agree with them to listen to them and vice versa. They are as horrified by Trump as I am. I welcome them to the fight!

If we don't win over the average Joe working class folks, we won't win the midterms. Pretty simple.
We lost them in 2024 and we need to talk to them about THEIR issues. The reasons beyond that can come later.
As we saw in 2024, big crowds sadly do not always mean big votes. :-( I'm hoping ♥

That's right. But Dems are speaking to them anyway. Is that wrong? LOL Tim Walz showed up today where the Republican Rep didn't show up for his scheduled town hall!! He understands the suffering of working people. He really blew them away in Rochester! Good for him.

I was watching. It was Tara who said it.
Once she spoke all agreed that you must go to where the working class is at to reach and feel their pain. Tim Walz has it right. He has a ground level understanding of working people's woes, today at a town hall where the Republican rep didn't show. Smart.

Well of course! The point is talking to a person who can no longer pay their rising bills? Try to stay with THEIR PAIN.
They fear losing their monthly social security deposit? Stay with THEIR PAIN. That's how to let people know you are on their side. Then you get to the problem behind the problem.

She had a point. Stick to the issues the average Joe is worried about, losing social security, paying for higher priced groceries, medical debt etc.
While we all SHOULD be concerned about the destruction of democracy, reality says the average Joe worries about paying his/her bills. Trumps promise!

That was one woman, not the entire panel.
Her point was that people care about the bottom line. Should they care about the destruction of govt? Of course. But she is an on-the-ground worker. She hears what the average Joe is saying. Stick to the issues of the wallet.
She's not wrong there.

That is a great read on the show and I LOVE it!!
One of he many reasons this show is so successful is that I can imagine each of them sitting in my family room with me laughing and talking!!! They make the news tolerable.
And along the way the make me laugh. Thank goodness.
