Haha - basically just go to the library but ignore the main doors and the UVB (events bit) has a well signposted entrance just along the way next to the Rep. Clearer than it looks online.

Just by saying this the forecast will probably change and it'll snow Friday 😂

I was going to suggest ice cream break in the afternoon 🍦

Haha - we actually have 50 people still signed up after a few drop outs and I expect about 20% no-shows on the day but it should be a good crowd (the heat wave might be a factor though)

I'm sure there is a little wisdom in the mix - if you listen hard 😆

See outside of here I know zero people who sail - or have ever even been sailing.

Really though how do you not know armies of golfers?! Everyone I ever played football with now either runs marathons or plays golf...I'm a total outlier.

Ha - if only that was true - would be more interesting than the reality of pretty much every guy I grew up with endlessly boring on about it!

I'm okay ish with teams and even some of the higher profile players - but names of stadiums etc = no chance! Also some of the literary figures that pop up are total mysteries.

Impressive! I still find the classic slightly opaque crossword 'clues' hard to parse but do okay with the actual general knowledge questions - all that US television :)

Indeed. Cheers mate - though your Full Fact AI work stands up to pretty much anything.

While we definitely got a lot of attention (and sought it to be fair in an effort to change the narrative) for the web stuff, and I would never complain about the budget we did have, it was a drop in the ocean compared to all the statistical transformation work...and that was a decade ago.

I think that might be Grant (Daddy G) from Massive Attack's car! He definitely used to drive one of those.

I only know via Trainline as I always use that but all mine for the last year or more come with a reserved seat that is end to end - regardless of splits - as long as I am on the right train 😆 ...and that has been on Crosscountry, Great Western and LNER.

Aren't they always reserved on the same seat end to end these days by the apps? Though I still get the Seatfrog anxiety as I can't believe it works.

I decided to pick authors where I had read everything they had written 😆 which meant sci-fi and crime!

How low is the bar for competence in the games and it still being fun?!
