Just days ago, Brad Lander called me to interpret for an Arabic-speaking asylee whose case was approved, yet ICE was still harassing him inside the building. Brad personally escorted him out to safety. He does this kind of work quietly, every day.

What we’ve learned so far: 1. Cops can’t tell if someone dressed like a cop is real (how are we supposed to?) 2. Cops who witness a shooting don’t always follow the suspect; they may stay on scene & search his car. 3. Cops don’t report obvious suspicious behavior (“cop” on scene ignores them) WTF?

If you want an example of the failings of Community Notes, look no further than Musk spreading misinfo in the hours after the Minnesota shooting. The shooter has now been IDed as a Trump supporter. There is no community note on Musk or the original post he quotes.
