Actually after listening a couple more times it does sound like he’s going to throw in the towel entirely—he’s just too shocked right now, lol. He seems stunned.

Calling Trump impulsive with a short attention span is really ‘scathing’?

We’ve spent 20 years acting like Trump is a singular existential threat to our existence. If true, Vance isn’t as bad, period. If not true, what are we doing?

ICE is also the fault of a complicit press.
How, where and who did ICE recruit? Why isn't every newspaper in the country devoting themselves to finding out who is in this brand new secret police force that now terrorizes America?
It's the definition of newsworthy. The answer is: they're afraid.

Someone should write an OpEd about it as it’s related to one of the only two approved opinions the paper allows

Part of me thinks Gavin Newsom should instruct state troopers to start arresting them. But the other part wonders if that’s how a hot war starts.

Oh good lord. He couldn’t hack a weekend in Vermont when people protested him; he won’t last a day there.
LA—make him feel as welcome as the did in Vermont. And Greenland. And at the Kennedy Center. And Ohio.
Awww, the states (& Greenland!) still have one thing in common; nobody likes him

Imagine if Europeans or other countries started talking like that about helping the American people overthrow their tyrannical leadership? The same people would absolutely lose their shit.

I don’t know what the protocol is. I agree giving aid is important but when there are 2 cops, seems like 1 calls an ambulance & does whatever it is cops do to give aid (not sure they are qualified to stabilize injured victims); the other follows the shooter.

“ His experience is too thin, and his agenda reads like a turbocharged version of Mr. de Blasio’s dismaying mayoralty.” As for Mr. Cuomo, we have serious objections to his ethics and conduct, even if he would be better for New York’s future than Mr. Mamdani.” Seems like an endorsement to me. ‘Cont

So the cop that pulled up to the state senators house attempted to talk to him and he IGNORED her, and she didn’t find that odd? Knowing what had just happened? She should have called it in!

For some reason the press is trying to rehab his image or provide an “explanation” by slapping the devout label on him. Pretty sure most devout (post-Crusade) Christians avoid going on murder sprees.

And he’s so full of shit. How many business owners/CEOs has ICE perp walked after arresting them for knowingly enticing & employing undocumented people? Is it zero? It’s zero, right? Seems like it would be the better deterrent.
They should lead by example and start with this guy:

3. …"Do you think you're a big shot just because you have a green card? I'll make sure they revoke that green card of yours," Reyes said, recalling what agents told him. "'I'm going to do everything I can to get this paper revoked,' an immigration officer told me."
Disgusting, shameful behavior.
