Youโ€™ll probably get mad at me and say Iโ€™m anti-trans but I just donโ€™t want to lose our country to fascism. There has to be some compromise that will be acceptable to everybody and keep the GOP from destroying our democracy.

We donโ€™t need them all to wake up. We donโ€™t even need half of them to wake up. Hopefully, we wake up enough to save our country.

That is why the pain must be so severe they get shocked into reality. Then they can decide if their hate of immigrants and trans People is worth their children, starving and dying from lack of healthcare.

Unfortunately, it is going to take a lot of pain and suffering for Maga to wake up. ๐Ÿ˜”

I ended up at Wells Fargo back in 1990 after a series of bank failures from the Reagan and then Bush policies. Everyone forgets about the bank failures back then. There were a lot of them.

Apple TV+ I read the first book in the series and I think theyโ€™re doing a really good job on the TV show. If you are a sci-fi fan, you will love it.

I believe the anti-trans ads will outpace the anti-immigration ads in the next election. ๐Ÿ˜”

The reason they are spending so much time on this is because it is what won them the election. They spent over $200 million on anti-trans ads. 30M alone on an ad with Kamala regarding gender care in prisons. I stream, but I heard that the ads, especially during the World Series dominated. 1/

Republicans donโ€™t care if they lose the ACA. Their hate is what drives their vote. The biggest issue in 2026 will be trans women participating in womenโ€™s sports. We better figure out how weโ€™re going to respond.

What I know for sure is if we ignore this we will surely lose just like we lost in 2024.

CA 47 is the district that Katie Porter won. David Min the democrat won by a very slim margin in 2024. I also fear that my district could turn red as it was also a very close race. Thatโ€™s two seats We cannot afford to lose in 2026.
comment in response to post
Unless we figure out a way to overcome their anti-trans rhetoric specifically focused on womenโ€™s sports we will lose the house. I am already seen Republican candidates. Use this rhetoric in California for governor and the Republican running in CA 47. 1/

I wouldnโ€™t necessarily say they vote Democrat over our 200+ years of democracy. I would say they vote smartly for the best interest of the country and currently that is Democrats.

You didnโ€™t watch the video. She will be competing, but they came up with a solution to make it fair to the other girls. If you look into ABโ€™s history you would know that she competed as a boy two years ago. When she competed against girls, the difference between her and second place is unheard of.

So what do you think of the solution they came up with to make everyone happy?

I miss the science fiction book club, where you could get a lot of these titles cheap. I read The Handmaidโ€™s Tales back in the 80s. Currently my books are packed away, but I want to dig that one out to do a reread. I reread a lot of books multiple times.

Is it because they lack the skills or is it because they donโ€™t want to do that kind of work?
