Rn, I'd guess it'll be fine in a few days to a week, so long as nothing else happens to it.

Taco Bell puts this shit to shame (also derogatory).

I like Waze because I can turn off the talky bit when I don't need it. I have it set to "alerts only" so it can still tell me there's a crash ahead or whatever but it doesn't read the turn-by-turn directions

Edibles are metabolized differently. If you're desperate you could try an edible to get to sleep, they don't affect my inhaled tolerance, of course ymmv.

Lol, I am sending this one to the next person who asks me how I am

Frankly I should just do the math myself and lie, but I dislike lying to medical professionals even when they're being fucking archaic.

The chafing! The leakage! We can do better, we have the technology! I've been using cups for like 15 years, you'd think they could go "ok volume of cup is 25ml, by X hours, = blood loss rate" but nooooo

"My heart just fell out of my butt!" is how I've always phrased it. Big dropping sensation like all my guts have noped out.

So far all my blood tests are showing normal, even the a1c. Yay functioning body parts, boo lack of answers.

For me the cramping that sets it off starts as a period cramp and zings through my hip flexors, down the thighs to my knees. The RLS felt like a sudden intense itch, like a bug bite, and tended to be worst on my shins.

It takes longer to set in but still sticks around a long time when it does happen

It resolved almost entirely the day I got the big iron infusion, which has been very nice. Still lights up a little when the cramps zip down my legs but it's nowhere near as bad

I had extremely itchy legs and figured it was just the winter drying me out, but turned out I had Restless Legs Syndrome, because of the fucking anemia

I'll let my childhood ear specialist off the hook BUT THE REST OF THEM GET THE SHAME BOARDS
comment in response to post
I should get to grab every doctor I've ever had prior to this hospitalization and make them all wear sandwich boards of SHAME

Yep, I personally hate them. I can enjoy one person playing some chill guitar around a campfire or something similar, and that's as intense as I can be bothered with.

I hope whoever gets my case at uhc has a heart and just fucking approves the surgery. Get this thing out of me, for fucks sake.

I also have a ride in case I do need to go anywhere medical so I'm gonna get stoned about these godforsaken cramps!
comment in response to post
Have called, they're going to see if we can switch up my meds and get the goddamn bleeding stopped, see what my doctor wants to do, and I've been given strict instructions on when to haul my ass back to the fucking hospital

He needs a heat lamp for the winters like a lizard

Cat tax!

Well, nothing to do about it rn, so I'm gonna program the new med schedule and then get stoned to chill the cramps out and crochet some more blanket.
