Modern devotion Bari, #Puglia #StreetArt #Murals

Because every Christian nationalist is going to roll it out over and over again

Ahead of No Kings Day, a couple trainings we have coming up that might be useful: Safety and Deescalation: www.mobilize.us/nokings/even... Know Your Rights (w/ACLU): act.aclu.org/a/2025-kyr-t...

A plane with no call sign is currently circling the area where the LA anti-ICE protests are taking place. It took off from March Air Reserve Base

We have Hegseth instead of Esper this time. www.axios.com/2022/05/02/m...

SOMEONE GET ME EYES ON THAT FUCKING HOME DEPOT RIGHT FUCKING NOW WE'VE GOT AT LEAST 30 MIMS OUT HERE ARMED WITH EGGS

The military that signed up no matter what service does not want to be deployed on their own country. They signed up for a specific reason, education skills, etc. Take that to the bank.

Villain, thou know’st nor law of God nor man

Fascists want to provoke violence so they can justify crackdowns and get some good footage to distort for state propaganda outlets

I’ve been studying civil rights protests for 20 years. With new mobilization against Trump’s agenda, I’m sharing a thread summarizing my research on how nonviolent & violent actions by 1960s activists and police influenced media, elites, public opinion & voters. 1/ www.cambridge.org/core/journal...

#ncpol No Republican Outrage?

1/ If accurate, this is almost certainly a conflict with the Posse Comitatus Act, which prohibits the use of the military for domestic law enforcement, including the National Guard if they are federalized.

Wait for more information, folks. We will know more soon, but not now.

The administration is full of weak little men. ICE should self deport.

I think protest is vital, but at this point I suspect the biggest win in this skirmish would be news footage of 2,000 national guard soldiers standing around looking bored. The narrative is already that Trump is overreacting. Play into that.

Look, this feels obvious, but also I think it needs to be said: people are going to and *should* fight back when anonymous, masked teams clad in military combat equipment invade their communities to seize people who have committed no crimes—citizens, even—to possibly send to concentration camps.

Feels like a uniquely American brand of stupidity to try and mobilize troops for the battle of Home Depot

Particularly pathetic as a fake emergency but that is on brand for this admin

I didn’t think I’d ever agree with anyone from CATO, let alone David Bier, but here we are. This is an opportunity to build a catch-all coalition to push against this authoritarian drive. We do not have to agree with everything, but we do have to have a common denominator: against authoritarianism

This lawless administration is fucking pathetic.

If this ignorant motherfucker thinks United States Marines are going to violate their oath to the Constitution and follow illegal orders, he's in for a fucking shock.

If the president gives unlawful orders, it’s the responsibility of military officers to refuse those orders. It’s imperative the movement maintains non-violent discipline so the military will side with the constitution and the people. We can win if we stand together.

1) Fuck off. 2) You do realise that the people travelling on this tube and reading this ad are in fact humans? 3) Fuck off some more.

The left is just as disgustingly misogynistic as the right, sometimes in nearly identical ways.

Midnight, June 7 is the deadline to comment on the revised Schedule F, Trump's plan to politicize the civil servants by converting them into at-will appointees that can be fired for the mildest pushback against illegal actions. It's easy - here is how: donmoynihan.substack.com/p/last-day-t...

This is so jarringly unAmerican that I sort of hope it wakes some normies up. It is occurring in a context where military-style equipment is being used to enforce immigration roundups and conveys the notion that we are increasingly living in a police state.

What an absolutely dystopian disgrace.

ICE arrested former Afghan Nat'l Army soldier—our ally against Taliban—at his home in TX. He entered legally and atty says he has no criminal record. Was applying for asylum. Appears to be casualty of Trump decision de-documenting legal Afghan immigrants www.houstonpublicmedia.org/articles/new...

FWIW this is pretty transparently what some of the admin wants—sustained conflict with protesters like in summer 2020 so they can take another run at what they wanted to do then

We are so shockingly screwed
