Good. Trump will never get over the class, intelligence, popularity, respect & Nobel that Obama has. Imagine the damage this has done to the ego of this pitiful old white man.

I'm of age. Love dogs but cats are all I can handle. My babies are adult/senior cats I adopt from my local shelter. They enrich my life in more ways I can express.

Here we go again ... and again, again, again.

Yes, we have a job to do & I'm in awe of the growing number of people of all walks showing up. We can do this. We must do this!

How different would it be under another administration? No doubt it's worst case with trump but I wonder if anyone could bring an iota of peace to the Middle East. I see no end to the centuries of conflict.

How incredibly miserable they both look. It's true that money & power can't buy you class or happiness. I like that for them.

This is why everyone needs to get out tomorrow. I am, despite warnings of counter protesters. Local LE has promised they will protect our 1A right to peacefully assemble. We'll see. I'm in deep red MAGA country. Wish us luck!

You have a point and I would welcome anything good that comes out of this war.

Depressing. All the wars in my lifetime have just resulted in the sacrifice of our own youth, destruction of entire countries & death/starvation/displacement of so many of the innocent & powerless.

Why don't they just call this what it is - trump declaring war on the state of CA. NY is next.

Agree.

Yes, but this is not to support our military in a foreign war. LA is not requesting this. If so, the Governor would activate. This is the feds throwing their weight around.

True that Kent State was the result of the Govenor activating his state's National Guard. This takes it a step further with feds usurping the Governor's authority with a possible bad result.

Comparable to playing the fiddle while Rome burns. He has no clue. Just following the script handed to him from his reality show producers - Miller et. al.

Got to say the threat of federalizing the National Guard is giving me scary Kent State vibes. That, plus seeing tanks rolling into DC today, is making me very uncomfortable.

Let us never forget that trump needed to win or face jail time & bankruptcy. If it took selling his soul & our country's soul to the devil(s), he was all in. He won. Yes, we are that shallow.

This is what the people voted for - the most disgusting outrageous reality show ever produced. The hell with what's good for me & the country. Let me be entertained.

Even when D's had some power in the Biden Administration, nothing happened. No consequences but for NYS charges. Sorry, he will always skate & he knows it.

I'm rewatching West Wing. Just finished arc re India & Pakistan. Amazing how this show remains relevant & gives me hope that we will again right the ship.

Have yet to see any Eupopean citizens who have overstayed their student/visitors visas be deported with their American-born children (hope I never do). Maybe that would break the glass?

Our effort in a very red district in upstate NY - birthplace of Elizabeth Cady Stanton & rep'd (again) by Elise Stefanik. It was exhilarating!

It's pretty sad that the GOP has only trump to hang their hat on. Their choice, though, so I'm not shedding any tears.

Thanks, Rachel, for the repost! We are small but mighty & saddled again with our rep MAGA Elise Stefanik. Not going down without a fight!

Johnstown, NY (pop 8,000). Birthplace of Elizabeth Cady Stanton. 4/19/25 in front of the country's oldest working courthouse. 200+ strong NY21 South Indivisible. Photo credit: Andrea Smrtic.

My thoughts exactly. With trump gone the head of MAGA is cut off and the pieces scattered.

Garth Brooks. A genuinely nice guy who was awesome & a class act when I met him at the height of his career.

Our small but mighty Indivisible group plans to march & fund raise for our local food pantry on April 19th. Hope to make it harder for the trumpers who outnumber us 10-1 to spit hatred on us. Wish us luck!

Yep. Power to the people. We outnumber the oligarchs & can do this.

Musk is our generation's Howard Hughes. Rich, successful, innovative but also incredibility bizarre. Hughes life ended tragically due to his obsessive mental instability.

There's not a bus to be had for hire on April 5th in all of northern & western NY. They're all taken for Washington DC. A good sign.

Such a douche move by a mean, petty, little man. He still thinks he's the star of a reality show who's big line is you're fired.

$300M+ buys you a lot of power in the Oval. If we ever get out of this, one of our first priorities must be repeal of Citizens United or we'll just get back here again.

Bernie and AOC are setting yhe model. 34,000 tonight in Denver, 11,000 earlier today also in CO. Something is a-changin'.

I'm encouraged by the many local, grassroots protests happening all over the country. They give people a productive way of channeling their anger and it's a start if these continue to grow, gain traction & pick up national coverage.

Trump cares only that he's in the headlines & making money. The R's deserve to pay the price for his narcissistic party. You reap what you sow.
