It's all good, just use the new One Button rotation! 😉

That isn't in question. The criminal died by suicide a while ago, an investigation continued post mortem to identify any additional victims beyond the CP purchase.
No additional victims have been discovered, which is important given their position in the school district.

I'm about 1/4 the way through Expedition 33 before I can dive deep into Oblivion.
I did, however, already make the obligatory journey out of the sewers and create my own "Trickster" class!

Absolutely well deserved, both my daughters are absolutely obsessed with the game. My older has taken a liking to speed running it and has beaten the game dozens of times at this point.
Thanks so much for such a wonderful game!

I think that it is a silly line of thinking. What is the FDA supposed to do about gun deaths? The FDA handles safety issues related to Food and Drugs, they should just not do anything until guns are solved?

I love being able to dream about a possible future where a climate crisis is averted, and deniers are able able to say "See?
You were all worked up about nothing!"
I'm cool with that future.

Just going to leave the feedback that it will be very difficult for me to hear "Core 2 Duo" and think about anything besides the Intel Processor of the exact same name.

More people need to watch Bridge of Spies.
The process has value, and it must not, it cannot be skipped over under any circumstances.

Indeed, I'm happy to report this works great for me now! Thank you!

"Federal Government Employee votes for man who openly despises the Federal Government" it sure is a wonder how things didn't go the way they expected.

Like, in this situation would I come off as a complete asshole ordering a 16oz cup of hot water and a double espresso?

Pretty much any place is making both a 12 and 16 oz americano with a double shot.
Some places do a triple shot for a 20 oz by default.
Obviously you can also ask for these to be changed however you want, but choosing an Americano size is more about choosing your dilution rather than size.

Kind of an odd take. It's not like they are posting a question about every single asset. They obviously make lots of choices every day.
Is it really so odd to take a couple of assets and open them up to the public to gauge and understand their take on it?

I get that. it is hard to think about tomorrow when today is on fire. But if we let ourselves stay here, we lose.
For all the evil it does, Project 2025 worked because a plan was made and executed on. It was a plan that resonated with Americans and got them out to vote.
What's our Project 2029?

A short micro game (takes about 1 minute) that investigates loneliness.
I'm a big fan of games that employ a simple premise with simple mechanics to get us thinking, feeling, and talking.

We live in a world where, in large part thanks to AI / Machine Learning, we literally have the ability to near-instantly 3D print any protein that we can possibly dream up. That is a wild universe to live in that only recently became a reality.

And the ability to distinguish this is exactly the kind of technical knowledge that Mark is talking about

I think it's important to not just think about "Chat Bots" when it comes to conversations about AI. Machine Learning in general is causing MASSIVE leaps in medicine specifically that are quite literally game changers.
For an example, see this video from Veritasium

> but with physical quantities it might be better to say "fewer than"
If you don't mind me asking... why? Does it actually improve communication?
I'm not too opinionated one way or the other, but many seem to be *quite* opinionated about it, but usually just because it is quote unquote "correct"

This is caused by a phenomenon broadly referred to as "Regional Dialects" and essentially encapsulates the idea that people who live in different places tend to exhibit differences in how that talk
Hope that helps!

Basically, the "Less vs Fewer" thing was introduced by a single guy, Robert Baker, in 1770 and it just kinda caught on. It wasn't some kind of intrinsic function of the language.

Out of curiosity, when you read the following Math statement out loud, how do you say it?
3 < 5
I say "Three is less than five"
If it works for math, I don't see why it can't work everywhere else.

On top of being a banger, gotta take the opportunity to drop the Lindsay Ellis video about Bush-era protest music and the role that American Idiot played in post-9/11 sentiment:

At least, not in the same way Black folk are regularly punished if they fail to properly understand white culture.
Also worth adding that Jeep was a major sponsor of the show, and "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand" is one of their marketing slogans.
comment in response to

Instead what we say is "It's a white thing... And you are expected to understand it because there WILL be an exam"
The halftime show WAS about Black Culture. Anyone who wants to is free to dig into it, research it, and strive to understand it. But nobody is punished for not understanding it

Just out of curiosity, when working with pixel art do you tend to try and work within a specific pallet of colors or do you simply use whatever the subject calls for?
Great work!

The judicial branch does have a small enforcement arm called the US Marshall's office that could step in to enforce court order if needed. Obviously the scales we are talking about are unprecedented, but in theory that is an avenue.

Agreed, now we just hope that it gets in front of a sane judge 🤞
