Any pitch that mentions "democratizing ______" warrants all the red flags.

You can hate him now, but oh actually he might stop now.

I was referring more to the idea that someone will push to put their own store on Nintendo or Playstation for example.

A seemingly innocuous but ultimately a huge deal and potentially will find its way impacting game consoles right?

There's your 2025 "the Iraq" moment but from someone with a notable position in the government. All is well.

Okay that's nice but could you spare some fodder for the internet commentators?

He sure is chirping alot about looks when he looks like the last hotdog at the cookout.

They have been mentioning framerate improvement for games where the framerate cap was raised. EoW was already capped at 60 so if they've improved the resolution, that hopefully means that the performance has been improved too.

There's something especially human about destroying the earth in order to get into space.

Nobody thinks Fast Fusion will outsell or even get a fraction of the sales that MK will, but it also doesnt need to. Its a small niche game for a small niche audience. 15 dollars is also a very approachable price and high quality/low price games (assuming it will be one) do very well on the eShop.

Not everyone likes Mario Kart, likely has a far smaller budget than mk, will offer a different type of racing experience, and perhaps more importantly-it will only be 15 dollars. I just want to see more of the game, I don't think it's doomed.
comment in response to post
The coverage on this game is borderline criminal. There's got to be another direct before launch.

Don't forget DJT stock, 5 billion dollar market cap while having revenues that are similar to a kind of popular gas station

It's hard to look back at her show and not see how many quacks and charlatans she had on in the pursuit of 'good TV'.

Sure but if you're a new hire in a low paying role, how successful do you think contesting your below company-wide average severance will be? Some will get more, some will get less.
comment in response to post
Correct me if I'm wrong here but severance is based on your current salary and your tenure, not just a flat number for all employees.

Makes you wonder if they plan on releasing a Switch 2 patch for it.

Through thick and thin, you bravely still found a way to complain about something. Truly inspiring.

People feel like they can spend 15 bucks on fast food meals that used to cost a fraction of the price. People are hurting and complaining but discretionary spending still doesn't seem to be impacted that much.

Giving 40 million to the uninteresting and charisma-free Melania is at least a medium size thing.

The market is backwards looking, only the sharks know this.

People have been freaking out over a 5-10% drop, I don't think even Twitter is designed to handle all the potential doom posting.

I've been using the Walmart app almost weekly for the past 5 years and yesterday was the first time it thought to check if I was a human and only after like 2 hours of the site getting bombarded by bots. A little late fellas.

I feel like "we haven't written the story yet" for a game out this year is perhaps a little too much honesty on Bungie's part.

Ah so he's only been explicitly anti Trump for the last 8 years compared to the two weeks he was in his cabinet and famously was fired bc he didn't agree with him.

Mooch has been firmly Anti-Trump for a while and his push back is what got him booted the first time.

This implies that they didn't do anything to make the controllers better which we don't know. It's also the case that neither the Steamdeck, ps5, or series controllers use Hall effect sticks so there are clearly other design considerations in delivering a great joystick.

Hot take: 450 is a good price for the system, given its performance, features, slim design, and support for physical media. The backlash was predictable but can't help but feel much of it is people chirping who wouldn't buy the system anyways.

Elon Musk trying to come at Assassin's Creed and getting dunked is the best ROI they could have ever imagined.
