Training is no cost for Sierra Leonian medical practitioners (or for the patients we serve).

Hank, the NGO I volunteer with, has a sister ship that's returning to Freetown after its annual maintenance is completed in September. They have several medical training theaters. Would the hospital you're building/supporting be interested in connecting? No promises, but I can ask some folks.

There's an argument to be made that the mechanism most responsible for climate change, corporate greed, is intentional and evil. The factories, machines, and infrastructure to support their race for profits has beltched air and water pollution since the Industrial Revolution with little restraint.

That's both surprising and not surprising at the same time. The efficiency that AI offers those who do repetitive tasks is tempting, but the drawbacks are too glaring to overlook.

Honestly, from the perspective of someone grinding out the query trenches, there are never too many commentaries on query letters. It shakes us out of whatever query-induced stupor we're in. Thank you muchly for this great piece!

What's the one thing you kept telling yourself while you were in the rejection heavy stages of publishing that kept you writing?

Sadly, there are still a lot of #litagents who use X and aren't active or have no accounts on BlueSky. I had to recreate an account on that foresaken platform just to network with agents. I'd happily nuke my account again if they were here.
