I put 4 in a bed 4 years ago.. this is the only survivor & it's going great guns.. so I guess from a crude experiment 25% chance of survival! I have another in a pot at the front which is okay, but I put the pot in a sheltered area before first frost ❄️

Gardens are proper eco systems .. do love a goldfinch.. I never post photos of the birds we have in the garden as I'm not very good with moving things but we get them too 👍
