And this is why I voted for the GENIUS Act, to reap the windfalls of criminal activity like human trafficking into our economy.

Given that backdrop, of course people are gonna be impressionable about where to point the finger. Nowadays, it's only people's own willful ignorance and bigotry that would make them think this is on-the-level.

Thank you. Everyone on here saying it was dumber than the propaganda onslaught we're getting with this one are off the mark. It was understandable to treat the news as an authority on the Middle East back then. Heck, we didn't even have a way to see satellite imagery of it and know what was there.

NPR would like you to know that much like slash and burn agriculture, vaporizing humans and their surroundings can sound concerning, but this is nothing to worry about and actually a good thing in the long term.

Those are really great visuals. I wish I wanted to play the kind of game that this is.

If only this poor guy had heard about emulation.

Man, that's so dumb. In commercial buildings, you have the metal-to-metal connections, except with some weirder light fixtures that resort to SJ and the like, or dangling receptacle boxes. But you still have a ground wire.

Clearly he's referring to having watched the trailer. Three people of color in major roles as MI6 staff. So, no, it is just racism.

I don't personally care about this game, so I had assumed the chatter I'd seen about this was because they were doing a remake to a similar degree as FF7. Went and watched the trailer because of your skeet here and what the hell? Why are people applauding this? They have done nothing but harm to it.

I think that when you are in a situation where significant monetary reward is at your fingertips, but is far from guaranteed, you can get really frazzled and do dumb shit.

Yeah. Recently I was blown away by the specific case of searching "wayneradiotv yugioh", "wayneradiotv duel masters", "wayneradiotv master duel" and basically any derivation of that you could think of. It doesn't come up. The "Pot of Greed" clip does. Then, it's in the recs section for that video.

You can consider these the same exchange as signaling someone that they're driving around town with their headlights off.

Stop posting AI overviews. Doesn't matter if it happens to be accurate. It's not worth a damn.

I want "Why Are VTubers Like That" Seems like a really ripe topic.

On the flip side, this makes the site so much more enjoyable for people (like me) who don't like being inundated with that kind of crap.

I just want to say that without investigating the wider context of you posting this, I don't think it's immediately obvious what is being communicated by pairing an upside down smiley face with that quote.

The East side is proper city. Actual downtown is a concrete stain that's festered for too long.

I can get behind that a bit, given that I hate all those things to almost the same degree.

I think he's saying he saw a take so bad that he went back to sleep.

Lovely. TikTok has gone full "you can't watch this video" with their site. Good to know.

I wasn't all that hopeful that it was, but it's nice to think maybe the writing staff and set design weren't planning this from the start.

Just curious, does this look something they threw in in post? Or is that an honest-to-god banner that they printed out saying that? It wouldn't surprise me to see "invisible CGI" being farmed out to bend the knee as much as possible in unreleased media bankrolled by shitty companies.
comment in response to post
Yeah, I don't get why people have an issue with this comment. It just happened to be something he knew. It wasn't throwing shade. If he had just said 'Michael Jackson used it' people would've been feeling iffy about him referring to him neutrally like that.

Also, the British and Canadians.

Try out reverse osmosis. If you rely on the mineral content of water to provide you certain nutrients you can run into issues there. Or if you're attached to the taste. Basically, it's like drinking distilled water. I prefer it, but it's not for everyone.

Is your house plumbed in soft copper mostly? Fascinating. Not a common sight where I've been. Could be common in Cali. I dunno.

Are you really looking to fault someone for using a word in the sense of its thoroughly-established modern definition rather than an extremely archaic one? Maybe you could go harangue some people saying "[a thing] is giving [any word here]" if you want to hold the line on semantics.
comment in response to post
Well, it's an indirect form of measurement. And it has the added bonus of making someone using a bunch of sub-standard processors look equal to someone using better stuff because all that matters is that they waste the same amount of electricity.

Now will they do the other key thing and strip out all the reality TV garbage that made finding anything good such a hassle?

How to tell if your game has the best combat system of any Square game: Does your game let you kill people by driving around with your car door swung open? If yes, congratulations! Your Square game was the one with the best combat system.

There's another bill about disallowing the existence of speed limiters on vehicles. We're most of the way to bills like "Men are not required to wear helmets on motorcycles.", "Every new >__ sq. ft. house must have a permanent man cave of at least __ size." and "All pesticides are legal again".

I didn't read the 'his' in this at first, and I was like. "Wow. There's something especially twisted about wanting that to happen, but not for three more years at least."

Dang.

I'm not gonna demand faultless ethics from them, but I totally agree because it's simply a waste of their time. They should QL games I don't already know a shitton about. Like the old days.

Missing the "of" here.

I couldn't care less about whatever garbage this is.

Nice. It's weirdly satisfying for something to be real and verifiable for once. What a baffling human interaction.

This doesn't seem like something all that trustworthy. It seems like it would be remarkably easy to doctor this footage and that there was a completely different message on the sign. Perhaps a sports team?

My wishful thinking has always been that there is a subtle but profound difference between the cultural landscape of Scotland and America that makes only the satire aspect of GTA fall flat like this. Over there, it just hits all the right notes somehow.

So they could have "ho" in it. Just want to say you're not oblivious, but just simply better off for having not picked up on this.

Hey now, it's Miami. Sure, Florida's bad, but I definitely think you could do worse. Missouri.

Here's an (imo) even funnier bit involving VR racing that never shows up in the Best of GB videos. Kinda not punchy enough for that.

Out of context, this frame makes it look like Gungans all levitate.

On YT Music, when they happen to be enabled, they can be a beautiful and otherwise infeasible connection between people listening to the same woefully obscure tracks. But much like anything of the sort, the slate'll be wiped clean on a whim someday and the record of those interactions will vanish.

Is this a recursive joke where this comment is meant to be the empty message an LLM would write? Because everyone seems to think it's legit.

Okay. Cool. I don't recognize trees beyond the more common varieties. And it was the roots rather than the branches that I feel would be cause for concern. Thank you for the clarification nonetheless.
