23/69 another one from the "literary fiction" realm. It was okay. I struggled with this mainly because I didn't quite know when it's taking place. If the year is mentioned, it was so brief I didn't notice. And I'm pretty sure it's not set in the 2020s so that info would have been helpful.

22/69 You might have been wondering "why is she so slow?" Well, I was reading a seven part series throughout the last few months. Yuwu might be my favourite Danmei yet. I have not read 2ha and might not do that. But I loved this.

D-Day wasn't a surprise but peak Yoongi and I love it. I had serious ups and downs with the solo albums. Some just weren't for me but that is okay. They were for someone else who needed them. 2/2

The cat is friendly, I promise. The others, too, but the cat friend is really the softest kitten under the grumpy cat exterior

Recently on my train
Guy 1 watches his series without headphones. Guy 2 "could you please use headphones?" Guy 1 "i want to save battery because I'll be? travelling so long" - And the solution is to annoy everyone else? Dude!

15/69 I read "Call down the Hawk" ages ago, lost sight of the series and now finally got back to it. Tears in my eyes on the last few pages. This was so good.

As i said before, I'm not the one who you should be talking to. You should be talking to OP.

OP is interested, idk how bsky works in this regard but perhaps also reply directly to OP so they definitely see it?

I'm European. I also do thumb, index, middle.
I'd kind of thought that Korea might do the Chinese version (little finger, ring finger, middle finger). No idea why I thought that.

That sounds actually like an awesome idea (though I'm in favour of collab with an artist).
Also, sidenote: Do you have recommendations? What's your 3 favourite ones?

Dropped Thai bc not a good teacher (or like, she was good but not for me & my way of learning), went back to Chinese after 5 years.

No. We're talking about an author who funds actions against fundamental human rights in Britain.

For the grammar compilations it does, sadly. I use it only for vocab as it allows me to add my own words. And yes I could use Quizlet ot Anki decks for that but the way these are programmed is not as easy to work with for my brain.

Admittedly there are more witches. There's one particularly unpleasant one in my home country atm. But she's a politician and funnily doesn't have the same reach as the o.g. witch

She who must not be named. Is there more than one truly evil witch these days?

Duocards. You'll have to do the grammar stuff elsewhere but it's amazing for vocabulary because it doesn't force you to go through beginner stuff you don't need anymore.

I have found out that what it needs for me to switch to something new is getting very pissed off with something that the old thing does. And as I'm majorly pissed off at AI anything I started using ellipsus for my most recent projects. Still getting used to it but I like how similar to gdocs it is.

I'm not sure about the 'complimentary'. It implies authors only wanna be told they're awesome. I wanna see that you find my story engaging and are invested in it. That's different in my eyes.

Would say this is too narrow. Yes, I don't like unsolicited criticism much, but "this made me feel XYZ", opinions about the character's decisions ("damn, he's being such a douche here") or speculations about what will happen next are some of my favourite things to get.
