I couldn't tell what they were until i was right there. I could just see something moving in the road. I didn't think i would stop in time. I was definitely a bit shaken.

...jumped to get away from us and clipped the back of the car in the other lane. The other stood in my lane and stared a few more seconds, then jumped into the ditch on the other side. The deer that ran into the other car took off running into the hill/woods on the other side.
