There is a new booster every year, so around 4-5 total, definitely not 10.
Most people get them with the annual flu shot. It's really not a big inconvenience.

I don't think Trump understands what a "hostage" is. What is she supposedly held hostage for?!

Well it’s not a physical item, unless they ship it on a medium which isn’t common anymore. So I’m asking if you can even put an import tax on a digital good or service.

Good question. I assume he wants to tax licenses for screening the movies in theaters or on streaming services, but is that even considered a tariff at this point?

Pretty sure he means that he would have been term-limited by now.

A missed chance to have protected bike lanes instead of curbside parking, though.

I just hate how much right of way the freight railroad insisted on. They will probably never run more than one track under this huge structure.

We are at a point where LLMs are more coherent than the US president...

Oakland could really use light rail on major corridors like San Pablo, Telegraph, and International Blvd.
This specific route track does not run on/near a transit route and can indeed be removed without shedding a tear.

A VAT is not much different than a sales tax. How is that a trade barrier?

Regular government employees (e.g. Reality Winner) have gotten long prison sentences for leaking secrets under Trump. Somehow I know Hegseth, at best, will be forced to know resign.

Meanwhile, Oakland is considering airport expansion while many of the flights from OAK could be replaced by highspeed rail to SoCal.

If I support the fifth amendment of the constitution, I am "abiding a terrorist" now? Checks out.

It has been hard to live in the US as a European. I frequently hear Americans talk badly about the EU, one of the most successful peace projects in human history. And there is a rise of Anti-Americanism in Europe, not seen since the Vietnam War.

Yeah, I am not sure if they actually don't know what current tech is and isn't capable of, or if they deliberately want to weaken FDA regulations to appease their donors.

Aren't they? What stops people from going to the border and claim asylum?

I doubt they still care about international law. They don’t honor the right to asylum either.

For 1, in many place residents are allowed to drive in pedestrianized areas at low speeds and yielding to all pedestrians and bikes.
But I would already be happy with real slow streets, where the speed limit is 5 or 10mph.

Why did they even stay in power after losing the Senate? Dems already underperformed in 2020 and 2022 under his leadership.

Irregardless of policy, he is such a bad minority leader. We need someone who can actually hold the GOP accountable.

Is there even any evidence of this person endorsing Hamas? All I can see is him being involved in protests where other people supported Hamas.
