I think there's a cliff edge ahead of publishing that's hard to see because most children's books aren't bought by children, and most YA books are read by adults. It's creating a kind of blind spot, a layer of adult purchasers between publishing and the kids. 4/20

I particularly love that the primary male character is a paladin who knits socks as a hobby 🧶 I wish I had his ability to see a kniting project through to the end haha

I think the main issue for writers is people jacking your whole book and putting it on kindle but what I love is the book comes to other platforms with its own support base/following and I admit I tried a few new authors on audible that are popular on RR even before I knew what RR was.

I followed a book on audible back to that platform- at first it was the only thing I read. Then I started trying other titles and I love the site now.
