@briantallerico.bsky.social Also predicting some brief "one-armed swordsman" climax action with the "runt"... It all makes sense. Calling it now. #PredatorBadlands

Ok. If you say so. I thoroughly disagree. Cheers.

Pakhet's introduction was an "a-ha"/revelatory moment that sucked me into Neith's journey. I was enjoying it & had hunches, but Pakhet made it truly click for me. Though I was unprepared (& the math nerd in me got giggly over) the Gnomon reveal (no spoilers). I was thinking of title too literally.

Hi Yitzi. Was that to me? Loved them all, but I latched on to & loved the character of Chase Pakhet. A majority of my undergrad & grad study in social sciences involved semiotics & critical theory (I'm a Jürgen Habermas & Jodi Dean fanboy.)

While no Ghost of Tsushima in terms of story it is really damn fun. It definitely scratches AC fantasy itch w/ variety of ninja tools & literally building your own ninja clan. Stealth works, parkour is tighter & less glitchy than all previous games. It is solid & well researched. Don't get the hate.

No frame rate issues (granted I'm capped at max settings at 60 frames 4K because my PC is connected to home theater & I play on a big screen). The fidelity & attention to detail is sick (what I was hinting at referencing gfx) & no probs even with DLSS off. No crashes nor glitches I've seen in videos

I love ALL your work! Such nerdtastic wetdreams. Can not wait for this. Ordering now!

Thank you!

More focused than Valhalla; tighter story; less fluff & cool base building system as you build your ninja clan. Also gfx if your rig can handle it is impressive & at times stunning with tons of little details (bubbles swimming; wet hair fx; gorgeous weather fx based on seasons, etc.)

Yasuke is a beast in this game. Even his stride is baller.

Thanks for this article. As somone that has studied the history, language & culture of Japan for over 20 years the noise was infuriating. Also worth noting MANY native Japanese games have featured Yasuke including the RGG Yakuza feudal era spinoffs & the Way of The Samurai games (all 4)

I truly loved Dustborn so can't wait to play what the Red Thread crew is cooking up next. Day one pre-order! ((P.S. I also hope Dustborn eventually gets a sequel too - that game had so much heart and a great soundtrack!)

WW being cancelled and the Nemesis system in limbo is just tragic. Monolith was a great studio with awesome people. This is just heartbreaking and tragic.

I see a lot of people responding to this news with complaints about David Zaslav, but it was president David Haddad who ran Warner Bros. Games for the last decade and who was responsible for overseeing all of the studios and their output.

Story coming shortly, but in the meantime you can read my feature from earlier this month about what led to this: bsky.app/profile/jaso...

TO BE CLEAR: I mean I am livid and can't believe they did this. Zaslav strikes again!

The cowards lack the fight - maybe a prolonged touching of the stove is needed for America to learn a lesson to wake up & the proletariat muster up some manner of courage.

At this point... I don't doubt it. I was raised by spiritual people, but believe in scientific methodology & rigor - peer review. Something went wrong where timeline I was on got twisted with this one. It is terrifying when a fictional idiocracy becomes real.

I wish & it was a parody, but it is not... It is some bizarre Kid Rock-like Rap-Rock MAGA dipshit.
