ngl I think vsplash getting 210 is more likely then rapid deco getting 200 back (never lol)

I reached the character limit on my nerfs post, otherwise it would've been on there

You just have to run weapons on your comp that can deal with. Best options are splash sblast stamper with 6 bursts and pencil sucks vs crab booyah zip and boom there's your comp and you just hold ground and paint.

if the 2700 is in NA its basically worthless (any good div7 player can easily get 3k na imo), but if its jp gen idk why ppl don't wanna play with you

Grind your mechs in X and go for a high jp xp, then convince a zap +2 fronts to play with you (harsh reality for off-meta backlines but it is what it is)

No looney not you too...

Positioning in front of skill (mechs I assume), its way too important to play and control key areas effectively. The rest is very valid. I guess 'Movement' could be a 5th catagory or incorperated into positioning or speed.

Would be higher but 210p lol and there's just way too much hp stuff and tent counters in S3

That goes beyond the scope of what I was posting about but yeah obv some ppl want to comfort pick over playing optimal comps

At that point you might as well run the meta comp (splash bucket sword pen). Playing splash with mini works around the 'stamp not being an entry tool' problem.

Before 9.3 I agree that mini's main gun wasn't insane enough to be a proper slayer and was very kit dependent like other supports. I think the 3f reduction and stamp monozooka buffs (to deal with its counters) in 9.3 did it wonders and was the tipping point. It isn't a long time stigma imo.

They can and had seen use, but its only for very specific cases or strats. 52+Squeezer double wall, Naut sensor vs rollers, ds baiting for roller etc.

The area cup comps I get (the level of play is not exactly on par with King's Cup but good enough) But I think you run stamper splash edit with rpd. I rlly think zap is that weak as a cooler gun ngl. (Or more recently Kaiser running zap instead of edit) burst crab is too good.

Just curious, give me your example dualie comp.
comment in response to

Finally someone gets why dread is 'fake'.
Dualie is def top 20 maybe 15 weap imo but its kinda awkward to slot into comps (mainly the 2 slayers+1 support+1 cooler architype).
I find it funny ppl keep coping for ttek even tho it has 0 results before and after nsplash got added, it's pure d*ckriding.
comment in response to
post
On paper splash vs dualie seems pretty even, but when building comps splash has a lot of tiny advantages over dualie that add up. It paints more, is less punishable, burst is better for chip than suction etc. Dread and ttek aren't 'bad', but I think there are way better and higher ceiling options.

vimi for burst poking and getting 10 mono zookas, and flingza if you can find an edit player.

Again, not a bad arguement but it clashes with strikes' design in execution. If you pop strikes mid fight you die, so you can't frontline with them (same problem with bucket actually) So if you want your support to fight a bit there's the zooka kit (combos) and yknow, burst crab (paints+combos).

In theory you could be right, but any comp or counterpick you would want strikes in, nsplash is much more proven (for enabling rollers/squeezer or vs jr) While vshot is 'weaker' than ttek, it doesn't suffer from being outclassed. It's mostly a comfort pick for ppl who don't want to learn splash.
