Exactly the point of the 3.5% rule. Mayors and merchants will listen to their citizens and apply pressure. Bullies try to intimidate but it’s all bluster / they always back down when opposed.

Good question. We’ll have to try it and find out. I’m not sure it needs to be even across all states - especially since blue states have the biggest populations and are centers of commerce. Part of the point of protest is to shut down financial markets so the merchant class also applies pressure.

JB has been doing a solid job in IL. I almost don’t mind my crazy property taxes given that my daughter has bodily autonomy and he’s taking a common sense approach to other healthcare legislation
