Today at work I looked up the correct spelling of "weenie".

I just heard a huge cheer from the pub a block away. What sport is it tonight, friends?

I’ve been driven inside by the deteriorating air quality and I am not happy about it. The weather is otherwise perfect today. 😭

Currently my favorite distraction on TikTok is this man who is CLEARLY in like, THE BEST shape, finding things that other athletes can do (and often the things they're doing are typically femme) and seeing if he also can do that With the "assistance" of the best dog named Dootie I love this

If you had a CAA membership (Canadian AAA) and you were headed on a big road trip, one of their services was they would make you a TripTik - find the best route, make you a personalized map with the route highlighted and directions. Maybe even hotel options? Loved those.

PSA: do not lean in to drink from a public water fountain without pressing the button at least once to test its particular quirks... 💦😂🤣

I need to send 1 (one) email today. I sat down at the computer two hours ago. Have I sent it yet? LOL I will now be getting up to go make lunch.

I worked in Shakespearean theatre for 16yrs. There are 2 tricks to making it understandable, both of which these actors are doing. 1) You can’t just read the words. The language IS archaic and it IS complex. The actors have to understand what they’re saying and work to get that meaning across. 1/?

Anyone wanna go and see But I’m a Cheerleader with me at the Bloor? (Yeah, yeah, I know, but if it’s back to playing second-run movies, I get to call it the Bloor…) June 15th.

Share a cool picture you took. No rules. Empty that camera roll. #FotoFriday

For any stage managers or playwrights struggling with script changes in rehearsal, I put together an intro to screenwriting software that can help. #stagemanager #stagemanagement #theatre #theater #playwright #playwriting

A scene from my pilot, Luck Be a Lady, is one of 4 featured at this event! June 9th at 7pm. A reading of the scenes by ACTRA actors followed by a Q&A with the writers. For anyone who would like to attend, in person or on Zoom, registration is now open and it’s free! actratoronto.com/working-the-...

Screenwriting friends: would anyone be willing to read a two-page pitch doc for me? I'm happy to make it a trade if anyone else is looking for outside eyes.

This is my worst nightmare on several fronts but also may have just landed on my bucket list? I do have a question, though… How do you get down?

Walking around a PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB today as part of Doors Open, I listened to one of the hosts explain with great pride how she had used AI to create the images for the directional signs. I just… I can’t… I’m just going to lie down on the ground and cry.

It’s not a great sign when the best part of this year’s Eurovision was not, in fact, any of this year’s entries. But Greg is 100% right. This bonkers mashup was my favourite bit too!

This thread… might explain a lot about Gen X, actually.

Read this astounding review of Direct Descendant by The Lesbrary! "Overall, Direct Descendant was a solid read, one that I would recommend for a rainy day with a cup of tea and an oversized blanket." Book: buff.ly/QYNwdr1 Article:

Are the lyrics to the song as filthy as that sign performance makes them look? Cause props for leaning alllll the way in.

Ok, I have a question - is the flat atonal thing a stylistic choice that’s going around this year, or can the artists not hear themselves properly? #Eurovision2025

Today is the last day for Ontarians to comment on Bill 5, which would wipe out the the Endangered Species Act and give cabinet the power to create “special economic zones” where development can be pushed through without regard for provincial or municipal rules. #onpoli

Let's talk about these two department store owners: brother and sister Louis Bamberger and Caroline Bamberger Fuld. From Newark, New Jersey. They are random people, basically. But in the late 1920s, with fascism taking over Europe, they made a choice that profoundly changed the world: 🧵

The Eurovision audience is absolutely up for anything and even they don’t know what to do with Italy. I have a WTF category, but I don’t usually mean it like that… 😳
