I've been a fan of Gailard Sartain since his Hee Haw days. Sad news 😢

Yes. I'm dealing with this now. I posted a thread about it today. Having to depend on Medicaid and caregivers, within the limitations of the system, sucks.

Khalil’s arrest was the first in a string of abductions that expanded into a much larger operation against pro-Palestine international students.

need to be reauthorized and the pulmonologist won't authorize them because he has released me.
I am in shock and very frustrated. So much of my care--and my life--is out of my control. 9/9

found another driver and the hospital said come in anyway, but we were over a hour late. The procedure was 2 hours late. And now I'm hearing the pulmonologist is firing me.
I'm hearing this now because I am out of supplies, the delivery is late. The supply co says it's because my prescriptions 8/

one to drive and one to be on the lookout in case something goes wrong with my trach or ventilator. No, a caregiver can't accompany me and my husband if they aren't delegated. And no RT or nurse wants to delegate them because it means putting their license on the line if something goes wrong. 4/

but quit because something went wrong with a client and they didn't want the responsibility. We've searched, but no RT or nurse wants that responsibility.
So my caregivers can't drive me. My husband can't drive me by himself because the state requires that I need 2 people to accompany me. 3/

My caregivers used to drive me to my appointments in my own van. But the state started say the need to be delegated by a respiratory therapist in case my trach pops out and they need to put it back in my stoma. The RT with my respiratory supply company used to delegate them, 2/
