Well that was a missed opportunity.

When my great-grandmother was in her 90s, she had a stack of VHS tapes she watched a lot. One day she chose one that surprised my grandmother. “Ma, you don’t like the way that movie ends.” She said, “maybe it’ll end differently this time.”

Well, to be fair, they got rid of all the scientists, so there’s nobody to listen to anymore. Or to come up with a cure (or remind them that the best cure is people not getting it in the first place). So, um, put onions on the soles of your feet and wash your face with morning dew?

The nice woman at Wild Bird Unlimited said mid-April! I just want to be prepared. And maybe I’m a little impatient.

Well I didn’t talk about my Dad much so I don’t blame you for meaning FezzBear. The cats were clamoring for wet food last night (after kibble) so I went and pulled out four cans… and then put one back. 😢

They are both very missed. I assume you meant my cat because he’s the one in the photo but honestly I’m having a hard time missing both right now.

Thank you. He is very missed.

Book spines (author, title, publisher) Library spine labels Stickers (again thinking library, we use genre stickers, location, or other attributes, like children’s collection or large print)

Do the mechanisms themselves have to be small? Or just the tidbits of information? Because: Gravestones Memorial plaques “George Washington Slept Here” signs Signs on monuments Cards next to artwork in museums

These people aren’t even saying they don’t use the library. They just say they’ll use the library the next town over. We all share, but that’s because all the libraries pay to be in a materials sharing consortium, and if you don’t have a library, then you’re not part of it.

No, sir, what isn’t fair is that you’re voting to defund town libraries, which cost roughly $60 per person annually, because you think you don’t need it, because other people will do it for you. Just… just support us, okay? We’re all doing our best here.

Don’t know how I got lucky enough to meet him. I must have done something really good to get that karma.

Books are always a welcome gift! I don’t buy them for myself much anymore since I get them for free at the library but I want to support independent bookstores and authors so I’ll occasionally buy some, or put them on a gift list.

Santa has given me a box of socks every year since I was a kid. This year I got my box and ended up sobbing like a baby because with my Dad gone, it’s my last box. (My Doug promised to keep the tradition going. He’s amazing.)

When the library kids ask, I tell them that Santa brings me a box of socks every year, because he knows my feet are always cold.

I remember that feeling from when I was a kid. We always had gifts under the tree but when the other kids got new game systems and mountains of gifts, Crocodile Dentist just doesn’t seem so cool anymore.

Someone I know gave her daughter a blanket that was “knitted by Mrs. Claus.” Very sweet, but why does nobody else have anything handmade by Santa’s wife? Then apparently Santa set up a whole scavenger hunt leading to… her new pony.
