Oh girl I get it. The real focus right now is just how bad things get while Trump and his ilk in power. Right now him and the Catholic Church are at odds, though, so I’m trying to look for any bright sides cause there’s just less and less of them

Right?? I know way too much about this papal election lol. Overall looks like he was picked because he aligns with Francis’ progressive views, but is unlikely to shake things up inside the Vatican itself.

The good and bad news is that sociology is still correct: A period of progression means rebounding to center. He’s progressive socially but conservative with church doctrine. He made some dodgy LGBTQ comments in 2012 but that’s a decade ago so we’ll see what happens. Otherwise he’s a hard centrist

I think that people overlook how great of a character T'Pol was. People dismiss her character but she was the brains and the brawn of Enterprise. I wish they could've incorporated her into Discovery or SNW because she'd still be alive in their timeline.

Not just that, but every rockstar / famous person who goes “yep I’m retiring to go farm” and most people take that literally when it’s just them living on land while someone else does the farming. Farming’s something you retire FROM, not to

Why is it that everything we’ve seen for Season 3 just makes it feel like a major step down from the first two? They seem to be putting a heavy emphasis on their comedy episodes for the promotional stuff this time around

“You may confuse them with Grass Marks but that’s actually just a recoloured version of the same generic sample pony who, unlike Green Seas, actually got made into a toy but WITH Green Seas’ name. It’s really very simple, you see back in the day…”

Contractors are the worst! Mom just got done dealing with one renovating her home and what was supposed to be a 3 month deal turned into 8!!! She eventually just had to work through the painters instead because of how bad he was.
Heart goes out to you, for a speedy (or at least cheapish) process
