Hmm so Russia is fed up with them. How long till their asset in the white house follows suit?

The problem with the UN is the security council has permanent members with veto powers. Makes it absolutely pointless.

Yep. It's sick, isn't it?

Yeah, that's capitalism. It doesn't value people in anything more than monetary terms.

There'd be peace as soon as Putin stopped trying to invade, I don't think he's capable of that though, he's obviously not a rational man.

If you're still here on the Saturday, go to a polling place and see if you can get a democracy sausage. If not, find the nearest Bunnings Warehouse cos they might be doing a sausage sizzle.

"Some were around during & involved..." some people are easily swayed, they only joined in with the massive cultural change because it was what everyone around them was doing. Now they're being swayed by what's on the tele and the radio, and what's in the papers.

I have a t shirt that says "If you hand me that 'how-to-vote' I WILL set it and you on fire". Works a charm and I even used an AEC purple fabric marker to write it.

Free speech isn’t absolute because speech has power. It can inspire, inform, or persuade. It can also incite violence, spread lies, or cause harm. That’s why every democracy draws a line: speech that causes harm isn’t protected. It’s about recognizing when speech becomes a weapon, not a viewpoint.

Or we could just not engage at all. Like not responding to tariffs with tariffs.

This is disgusting financial abuse by government. It needs to stop.

Peter, is "if you don't know, vote no" ringing a bell at all?

Pre polling has already started, they should have had concrete policies weeks ago. Or ever.

I tried seperate glasses once due to cost when I first needed different distance lenses, but couldn't see my mirrors properly when driving. Got progressive lenses now cos I need close, mid, and long distance prescriptions. It hurts the bank balance, but makes life so much easier.
