Why does it have 3 adam's apples?

I guess in that way they could teach the dumbed down version of chromosomes if they included this point about DNA. Because if you're able to convey how complex a single strand of DNA is, then you just tell them how a chromosome is a *whole package of DNA strands*, and thus even more complex.
comment in response to post
Like, if you unstrung a single DNA strand it would be over 6 feet long! And people think that shit is simple?!?!
comment in response to post
Which shouldn't even be difficult to convey since DNA is the largest known molecule. Shit like that ain't gonna be simple.
comment in response to post
I guess if complex topics like genetics is gonna be taught to kids the teacher should be required to stress to them "this is way more complex than this lesson makes it seem"
comment in response to post
Kids don't need to learn about genetics, at all. What the fuck good is that knowledge to them? Teach them super basic stuff like how their circulatory system works. Thats actually practical knowledge that everyone can use.
comment in response to post
Yeah, that shit was dumb as fuck too.

Neat!

Why does anyone who's not a biologist need to even know about chromosomes? Let kids learn about them for the first time in fucking college *if* they're studying to be a biologist. Then only the full messily complex version of how chromosomes actually work would be taught to anyone.
comment in response to post
Why the fuck does anyone need to know about that shit if they're not a biologist anyway? If it was so important for them to know, then why teach them a version that's so massively simplified that it becomes outright incorrect? How has that helped *anyone*?!

I've seen people post these for years now. What is it? Is it, like, the people you interact with the most?

That thing has three adam's apples

"Charming" is not how I would describe this abomination
comment in response to post
Uech!! Gross! That thing is vile!

Expensive*
comment in response to post
Good, but also extensive, lol
comment in response to post
Can I ask what you did to get to that point? Like, is there a specific diet you follow or exercise regimen? Did you change your HRT doses or anything like that?

Even if they secede for good reasons, it's still gonna be bloody. We have to be prepared for that.
comment in response to post
That's why I said it was a bad reason, lol.
comment in response to post
It absolutely does! Push through!
comment in response to post
I mean, they did do that in 1861 (for bad reasons) and it did not end well.
comment in response to post
There's a reason Paladins, Barbarians, and Fighters all have low intelligence, lol.

You can't "appeal to both sides" when one of those sides is trying to kill the other.

Joy and Wrath are twin sisters. Distinct and separate, but still of a kind and split from the same embryo in the womb. When one comes, the other is never far off, and often even walk side-by-side.
comment in response to post
We have to make our joy. Not even just in spite of hardship, but because of it. Joy is our most potent weapon, forged in fire from our very own hearts. Brandish your joy in the face of our enemies, like the sword that it is, and cut them down with it.
comment in response to post
— As trans people we should know better than anybody that joy isn't some delicate flower that is gifted to you upon the wind. Joy is a the dandelion growing out of a crack in the asphalt that's been sprayed with roundup a hundred times & still refuses to die.
comment in response to post
Hey, I've been wanting to do this around transness for a long time. I don't see why we couldn't throw some anti-AI into that religion as well.
comment in response to post
Also, Orange is my favorate color!
comment in response to post
If pressed about what religion I'll tell them I'm an Orange Catholic, lol. I very strongly believe in its principle of not replacing human thinking. Frank Herbert may have simply created that idea as a plot device, but it was still 100% spot on correct.

Over here censoring us for showing our stomachs. What's next, banning us for showing our ankles?

I know that feeling too!

I know intimately how hard it is to internalize that. Dysphoria is a very horrible bitch. I wasn't able to start thinking I'm pretty until *very* recently.
comment in response to post
If that pfp is you, then you need to know that you *are* pretty.
