The reason that scientific funding matters to EVERYONE in the US, not just scientists, is clearly stated in the @economist.com's story: it is because the triumphs of the US, "its economic prowess, and its technological and military might–[have been] interwoven with its scientific success."

Yes, the brain fog and insomnia are debilitating! Please talk to your GP or gynecologist about whether hormone supplements are appropriate for you. My understanding is that recent studies show they are appropriate for nearly all people going through menopause, with few exceptions. Your brain matters

Here are details about FDA-2025-N-1146-0001. It would limit vaccines to people over age 65 or with preconditions.
