So I agree with everything in this article but another wild bit to consider is that the inflation adjusted funding *just* for liquid metal cooling work in 1982 was equivalent to the entire DOE NE budget in 2023. If we want exotic reactors, we need to spend the money. China sure is!

Rewatched Rogue One, like many people. The elements which made Andor interesting are all there, but downgraded.
