If you’re eligible to vote today in New York City, I urge you to rank Zohran Mamdani #1 in your ballot and DONT RANK CUOMO.

Man I really need to follow less people who talk about politics…

Jesus, ‘the Iranian govt is overall bad and does lots of bad things’ and ‘the Iranian govt is not the aggressor here, bombing them won’t produce anything positive’ are not complicated thoughts to hold in your head at the same time, some of you people need to realize life isn’t a video game.

The response to Zohran Mamdani's campaign reminds me of the stories I've heard from ambitious, optimistic Millennials (esp. BIPOC) whose ideas are repeatedly shot down by managers, are told they don't have enough experience to be leaders, and are constantly subjected to microaggressions and racism.

A reminder that the Democratic plan is to let Trump do whatever he wants and then run on returning everything to the status quo.

Okay I need to be offline for a little bit, see you guys when I see you

I'll say this. DO NOT RANK HIM. He would be my council person. Do NOT RANK ALLIE RYAN either. We have three good choices in Gordillo, Epstein, and Batchu. RANK THEM.

it’s vague and unstated and rarely directly defended, but in general there’s this idiot norm that knowing anything about the security state organizations, technology, or history is somehow suspect that’s way too prevalent in lib/lefty spaces, yeah. It’s incredibly fucking dumb.

we actually don’t have to listen to the people who are cheerleading war who were also cheerleading war 20+ years. we’re the adults in the room now and we have the power to say fuck no to shitty ideas.

they would never...

Beyond parody at this point; the week these guys picked sex predators and warmongers over your future

I finally canceled my subscription to the NYT this month and I should have done it sooner.

america when its own people are hungry and homeless: we just don’t have the money for that america when there’s people to kill: can we pay triple

Democrats could write a bill right now that reverses everything in the current GOP bill & run on that. They could take their own "Big Beautiful Bill" to the people & promise to pass it first thing if they regain power. It would be clear to everyone where they stand on those issues. They won't do it.

Cable news suddenly keeps mentioning “sleeper cells” in Iran. Heard it at least 3 times on CNN. Unbelievable 2003-style reporting malpractice, just spitballing ways of making Iran seem like a threat to Americans sitting at home watching tv

as someone old enough to remember the ruin of the Iraq War and the 2008 financial crash, the fact that we bombed Iran and advanced the Genius Act this week has been pretty wild and makes me doubt that a critical mass of American elites are capable of learning anything

Never mind what actual Iranians say, or actual Palestinians, or actual Iraqis, or actual Libyans, or actual Syrians, or actual Lebanese. The most important thing is what an American woman imagines that they say.

If you're in Council District 2, I don't have to tell you NOT TO RANK Allie Ryan or Anthony Weiner. Rank Andrea Gordillo, Harvey Epstein and Sarah Batchu in whatever order you want.

Incredible how Cuomo is absolutely DWARFING everyone else in money and spend and yet it’s still close enough that they’re pulling these stops out. They’re scared.

You don't know how "the world" feels about anything based on social media posts. You know how you and a handful of others might feel. The world is a big place.

Trying to explain to my former Gen Z intern what the second Iraq War was like (he was 1 when it started), and honestly: Just know that every war in my lifetime has been started by a Republican president. Please remember that, no matter what bucket of lies the GOP tries to sell you, younger voters.

Really feel like the NYC mayor’s race shows that there is no such thing as a progressive establishment, and there is, in fact, an anti-progressive establishment that runs all the way from Murdoch to Clinton

Don’t take your eye off the ball. The attack on Iran is meant to distract you from the proposed changes to tax credits for soybean farms

they’re assembling the pervert megazord
