Now that the United States Court of International Trade has overturned Trump’s tariffs, will China voluntarily dissolve the retaliatory tariffs it’s levied against the US? It would be ironic if China decides to leave theirs in place unless the US makes some new trade concessions.

If, as Trump acknowledged, the US is NOT going to be a primary manufacturer of clothing and shoes, why are tariffs placed on such imported goods? Same goes for agricultural products the US can’t grow. Other than to use tariffs on such products as a cudgel to beat our trading partners it’s senseless
