Transportation, specifically vehicles cars and trucks, are the biggest source of climate pollution in the US. We have to switch to electric cars to protect the climate. I've been quite pleased with my plug-in hybrid; it's been less expensive to run it as an EV than my old gas-powered car.

So toxic forever chemicals will remain in our water. The administration that is cutting money for cancer research is also increasing the risk of cancer from drinking water. Horrendous

The budget would do permanent damage to our national treasures and to public health. And the damage to the climate will leave us with a bleak future.

Indeed, that would help explain why we keep voting for sociopathic policies

Trump recently got a lot of media attention for supposedly wanting to end the carried interest loophole. Not only does the House GOP bill *not* do this, it actually creates a new tax break for the same private equity industry, experts tell me:

Philadelphia’s protest took place at Independence Hall. We looked back to the struggle against a king in colonial times

If the facts are benign, why not reveal them? The hiding of data suggests that they are concealing harms that are being done to the public. To make things worse, they are betraying free speech to hide potential harms.

It’s as if a view that Democrats have is outside the bounds of the rational or respectable mainstream until a conservative legitimizes it

I wish I shared your confidence Kara but no one went to jail for child separation. No one went to jail for CIA torture. No one went to jail for the financial crash.
And the folks who did go to jail for Jan 6 were freed by the guy who didn’t go to jail for Jan 6 or anything else he was indicted for.
