A thing I've noticed about myself and autism is that. I have quite a lot of fancy jewelry. I think it's pretty &/ or I inherited it. But I hate wearing it. I'll be out in Sister garb at the events. Sisters often have a variety of trainings for community events, including first aid and non violent support tactics. We are visible in queer nun clown face on purpose and that's not just to be theatrical. We expect people to tag us if they need help.

I started to think throwing the random beef shanks into the collard greens and letting it all cook for several hours was a bad idea, because OMG, so much fat! But letting it sit and pulling the fat off the top made all the difference. Now, 24 hours later, it's amazing.

I think the act of deploying the national guard to LA likely ate up the rest of the United State's DHS budget for the year. It's really expensive and, as has been noted by the chief of police there, entirely unnecessary. And they are going to be there for 30 days? The cost will be astronomical.

Hey hive mind, I've always had issues w/ being dizzy at times w/ standing. Mom had this as well & was told to "just eat more salt." Lately it's gotten worse, like lasting for several minutes. Obviously I'll check in with a dr about POTS. But what compression stuff have folks found that helps?

I've never made ragú before. It was totally successful. Blending the carrots/ onions/ celery so it's very fine is a must. I forgot my partner accidentally bought pancetta (thought it was bacon), so i didn't fry it like I should've. That might have failed. But it's been cooking for 3 hours.

So, I was gonna make pan roasted chicken thighs in a garlic rosemary sage and lemon butter cream sauce and then use the left over sauce to make eggs benedict in the morning. But Flamey Grant is arriving late to our house & leaving super early. So, it's gonna be a slow cooked Ragú instead.
