I suspect it’s the players pushing for this with how much money is being thrown around because LIV has been wholly ineffective at actually putting out a product people want to watch or have any interest in.

There are a lot of deserving candidates but and I doubt he gets it but what Beamer has done with 4 years at South Carolina as a first time head coach is crazy. Passed Spurrier for wins in 4 seasons. Won 9 games with a SOS in the top 15 after a season that ended without a bowl. 6 game win streak.

I don’t think he will win but what Beamer has done based on what people was going to happen this season for us has been nothing short of a miracle. Freshman QB, a lot of new transfers, and one of the hardest schedules in the nation and the guy wins more games than Spurrier in 4 seasons.

Hope he finds a solid landing spot. He could do well at a G5 or FCS school but was never going to unseat Sellers or thrive. This also gives the younger guys a chance to play backup during games where we are well ahead.
