Like…we can all see the video. We can see what happened, they can’t lie to our eyes.

I just can’t fathom how anybody with any engineering background could think carbon fiber is the correct material for a toilet paper tube full of people that’s going to be exposed to 6000+ psi of pressure. Metals will flex and bend before they fail, but carbon fiber is fine until it very much isn’t.

The discovery one has the interview with Josh Gates where they invited him out for a test dive in Everett and everything broke. You can see his expression change from interest to “oh fuck this” in an instant.

Prior to Facebook, I was on the IGN game forums for the MMORPG I played called Dark Age Of Camelot as well as the Something Awful forums. I was raised in the primordial ooze of early GBS and FYAD.

I started using Facebook in (I think) 2004, when you had to be a student at a college that was part of Facebook. The website was git dot facebook dot com for Georgia Tech.
My social media jumped from AOL Instant Messenger directly to Facebook, bypassing MySpace entirely.

The bass being so far forward in the mix on Sloop John B makes me so incredibly happy.

Only when I’m watching football and only when I have a personal interest in one of the teams. Georgia Tech game or a Falcons game on? I’m standing and pacing.

I was thinking whether or not Drs. Sattler and Grant make any real mistakes, but they make the mistake of trusting Hammond initially, so that’s kind of a big one.

It looks like a typo. If your kid’s name looks like a typo in every human language, it’s not a good name.

The Braves path on that chart is pretty wild too. In the tank at the beginning, fight their way back to .500, hang around there for a bit, then absolutely face plant, going 3-14 in their last 17 games.

This is why the left sucks at coalition building. Everything is a bullshit purity test and there’s no room for people whose views and opinions have changed over time. Nobody is ever good enough or hardline enough.

They certainly think they can convince enough of the voting public that we can.

Add in a 2 hour loop of the top of the 7th inning of game 6 of the 2021 NLCS, just the part after Tyler Matzek enters the game with nobody out runners on 2nd and 3rd and Pujols at the plate, and it’s perfect.

The Verdugo send in the Red Sox series a couple weeks ago was inexcusable. Nobody has ever been more out at the plate than Alex was.

We’ve had too many flyover state retirees settle in The Villages and SWFL for it to flip before they all kick the bucket.

Is it weird that I don’t really care what happens to my body when I die? I would prefer to donate any spare parts that might be usable and cremate the rest of me (cemeteries are the worst land use), but I’ll be much too dead to really care.

That’s true, their dominant run really ended in 08. That said, can you make a compelling argument for anyone behind them to be ranked higher? Texas? FSU?
comment in response to

Also, I can’t make a compelling argument for anyone behind them to be ranked higher tbh.
comment in response to

Yeah but their consistency up till about 2017 and their dominance of the early 00s is what gets them there.
comment in response to

They’ve been consistently very good. They haven’t had the down years of a bunch of the other teams like FSU, who has had a couple stretches of wandering in the wilderness since 2000.

To this day, she still does not believe she was scammed. She gave the scammers $12k and we found out about it, informed her and stopped her. They found her again and she gave out another $4k before we cut off her access to a bank account or credit card.
