Well, me too. But if either of them posses the humility to deliver that, they're making a pretty good job of keeping it hidden.

Keir and Kemi are just so in love with weapons. They can't get enough. And they need us all to know about it. I think we should let them go running, stark naked, into battle, in the streets of Tehran. Let them get it all out of their systems. And then a lovely cup of tea.

I didn't realise there was a debate.

Happy to see you observe the 'enjoy with friends' instruction. 😀

Yes. It's ridiculous. If I had mobility issues and I couldn't easily walk for ten seconds to get to the bar to say, ' Hi, I would like a pint of beer please' (like in olden times), then the app would be a fantastic thing. But everyone with functioning legs is using it. Bizarre.

Ancient Egyptian papyrus 2025BC Not, really. A chapatti from Spice of Asia 2025AD

Aye. Ally Bally Bee (Coulter's Candy) was another. Kids still know that one I think. No violence thankfully, but there is some crying to get money for sweeties.

Migildi Magildi? AC Milan? No, I've confused thimgs there. 'Knickety Knackety.....' is one of the repeated phrases in The Wee Cooper O' Fife

It's one element that's lacking. There are others. I always get back to Remarque's idea that if the leaders and generals want a war, they should get in an arena had have it out with clubs.

It's depressing. Dresden. Horrific. Hiroshima. Horrific. You'd think any human being looking at that would think, well, that was disgusting. Let's never do that anywhere ever again.

Oh. I think the one I read said 'minor celebrity'. Well, obviously, that was what I thought. That changes it a bit then. Er. I hello to Lionel Blair in Sticky Fingers. And I answered the phone to Tilda Swinton.

I have seen that photo before. It's a photo. So, other than 'brilliant', I've nothing to add. 👍

Smart. Now, if I made a reference to R.E.M. it would be hilariously original! Hah! No new specs here but I've been adding turmeric, which despite its notorious staining otherwise, boasts paradoxical whitening properties to your tooth regime! Not bad. Almost night. Time for gardening and swimming.

Pretty cool, yeah. 🤣 Or 'Hah!'

I had to look up Adrian Street. My memory of the wrestling isn't as good as I thought it was.

JM said that he had commented to Moz on the '86 Smiths tour in the USA, 'T-Rex and Roxy didn't get these big arena gigs here' They thought it was ridiculous. Sure Morrissey still felt the same about Iggy in 2012.

Tut. What a daylight robber. As Oscar said, talent substitutes one minor chord. Genius sticks in another. Or you'd look careless. Something like that.

I think that is deliberate though?

Yeah. They're pretty.

Interesting you should say so. I thought the scratchplates were letting them down, but I wasn't sure why. Seedheads. I've just noticed that I'm wearing away mine.

I went to see No Way Sis. As the real thing were pretty close to The Rutles, it was another layer of nonsense. Good fun though. I can't find the Quietus piece.

The foodie v morals thing is difficult for me. I'm largely vegetarian because of it. I dunno. It's all or nothing really, isn't it?
