No, but back then my parents were telling me how £3k was a good wage back in the 70s. Thing was, their first house was 3k - there’s no chance you could get a house now for 40-60k

Eeesh, I remember working out that I could live on minimum 10k… straight out of uni in 2002.

Ooh that puts ours to shame! We’ve been here 18 months; first year we left it alone, now we’re clearing and re-planting the fernery at the top (not the actual ferns, they’re gorgeous)

Love it - we inherited a couple, need to see if we can divide them. A bit like alchemilla mollis, they’re good filling for borders

If you rewrite any sentence without LinkedIn cliches and it looks utterly prosaic, that’s probably a good sign that it didn’t need to be written (I’m guilty of LI cliches, can’t talk, etc)
Maybe a better way is just to state accomplishments and let them speak for themselves?

No they’re different things although I’m hazy as to why. I think a baker is attached to the person; the butler is attached to and part of the household. Basically a PA vs a General Manager.

It’s minced meat with spices in a sausage casing (traditionally sheep gut was used for this and sausages). You cook the meat then mix it into pakora batter here, I’d guess

I never reached those giddy heights. I once had the privilege of leading the class back from break in Year 1, and out of instinct walked straight into reception. Never lived it down, never rose again.

I can understand getting lost in Bristol - I grew up there and have no idea now how to get anywhere. But I don’t understand why you wouldn’t rethink your life if you decided to drive through a cemetery.
