I am dead. This is even better than the "I'm not a cat" court video.

I was telling my husband about a few songs from the 90s that were very Lilith Fair, and he was like “I like that song that goes ‘Why can’t I breathe whenever I think about you?’” And I was like…that would be Liz Phair….

It’s a failure of journalism to do shit like this. Donald Trump has said that something will happen “within two weeks” at least 5,000 times in the past decade with easily over 4,900 of those “deadlines” passing with no action.

Two weeks you say?

Have we ever considered that maybe having one singular mayor for cities of more than like 3 million people is an unworkable model? Not that I have an alternative, but it just seems like something about it is fundamentally flawed

STORY is up. A few answers to questions from earlier -- I'm still unsure what appeal options are, but Democracy Forward says they are exploring what avenues are available and I will circle back with them later. Yes, this applies nationwide immediately. As of now, two other cases over the same

People are asking if this can be appealed, and the truth is I don't know yet. The problem is that HHS was the defendant and Kacsmaryk denied the motion to intervene by Democracy Forward, so I don't know who would appeal it. I'm hoping to get some answers this evening.

BREAKING: U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk has issued a ruling striking down the 2024 Biden-era HIPAA rule protecting reproductive health information from disclosure to law enforcement investigators when it was legally obtained, such as in another state.

Confirming we're hoping to talk about this on the show Monday, June 30. Please reach out if you'd be open to talking about this, even if you'd prefer to talk pre-recorded sometime next week!

"This view was also embodied literally by Adriana Smith, a pregnant woman in Georgia whom a hospital kept alive for four months on a ventilator against her family’s wishes" Stop saying this. They said they weren't sure what they would've done and they should have had a choice.

It’s funny how autocorrect won’t suggest “people” when I write “I hate,” or correct the spelling of the word “homicide,” but if I write “You deserve to d” it suggests “die” 🧐

Literally every time I travel somewhere lately, the weather is terrible. It snowed when I was in Tennessee. It was 40 degrees when I went to Texas. And now this when I’m headed to DC this weekend. Whyyyy do the weather gods hate me

This is interesting. In Idaho, like in Ohio, Republican officeholders abused their elected positions to write manipulative and biased ballot language for a citizen proposal they didn’t like. Unlike in Ohio, the Idaho court didn’t let them get away with it. www.newsfromthestates.com/article/idah...
