Thoughts on "The Story and the Engine": a clever, imaginative #DoctorWho tale, which fit the mood! Using the barbershop's role in Black culture was a great touch. But the whole thing was undercut by the incorporation of "the gods." AGAIN. After 1.5 seasons of this, that's not clever - that's lazy. 🧵
