His Star Trek novel Imzadi directly inspired me to write Human Nature.

...as a plot device, no less? Why is the Rani doing this? Hard to believe it's out of nostalgia for the old days of Gallifrey. Much will depend on the resolution, but right now... for the first time in years, I'm not looking forward to the next episode of #DoctorWho. Rating: 3/10.

I enjoyed it for a while, but as Sheldon's misogyny increased season to season, I grew to loathe the series.

Your Domino series was my favorite mainstream comics run of the past 5 years, so I'm not surprised to see your X-Men series reaching similar heights of ass kicking. (P.S. Write Morbius again! 😃 That was a cool take on the character.)

It was all we talked about for *weeks* at what became Jim Hanley's Universe. Changed everything. Took a title few people cared about & made it the biggest comics sensation ever. Nightcrawler, Storm... we'd never seen characters like that. And Krakoa?! Lovecraftian horror, too!!? Holy crap.

Roy, consider this an open-ended invitation to join @mikeferguson5150.bsky.social and I on the podcast. We can have a lovely & lively discussion of all things Who. Lisa joined us for a chat 2 years ago! Let me know! open.spotify.com/episode/2tOY...

Okay, there ARE enjoyable things in "Time," but oh, the Mel screams seared my brain...! Consider that, for us in the States at that time, we'd been brought up on Sarah Jane, Leela, Romana I/I... we didn't know back then that Mel was continuing a proud Classic tradition. 😆

That said, the less we think about the McCoy era's "Time and the Rani," the better. 😄🤦♂️

The best episode of the season. "The Well" may have been tighter, but this was pure, exciting, emotional #DoctorWho.

It wasn't necessary to stick gods in here. On the plus side, the nostalgia montage was brilliantly effective, & I was happy to be emotionally manipulated there. 😆 And Belinda is quickly becoming perhaps the best Companion since Donna. Confident, insightful. What did YOU think?
Rating: 6/10.

Aside from the one member of the Nine who allowed Calus' forces to get past the Last City's defenses (just to see if Calus *could* steal the Light), what other examples are there of the Nine actively working against Earth?

The final episode redeemed things slightly, but damn this series deserved a more coherent wrap-up. Still, kudos to all the cast & crew for all these years of morbidly delightful murder & narcissism. ❤️🙌
