Look, you've got it all wrong! You don't need to follow me. You don't need to follow anybody! You've got to think for yourselves! You're all individuals!

Hurrah for Rosenberg's timely kremlin propaganda rush though. Mainlining this shit straight into British media's veins since 2003... 👍

You've literally no idea, mate. You need to get out of your 'very left' bubble. And it's no good getting angry & calling everyone who unknowingly imbibes all the toxic R/W media swirling around today "RW wankers". Get clever. Not angry.

...& people like you who completely ignore those dynamics are simply feeding every bad-faith disinformation monster everything they crave.

You don't see any negatives, Steve, fine. But in my public sector (very militant Trade Union), my colleagues roll their eyes at mere mention of GT at a rate of 8 or 9 in 10. Trust me, some of her antics trend very regressive for them. Toxic R/W media is trouncing her clowning around, unfortunately.

Ah, you're an idiot. Ok.

Sorry Warren, I respectfully disagree. If the OP had been a smidge more careful with his wording, he wouldn't have needed to counter 50+ posts inanely nit-picking at him, & detracting from his important post. (I was therefore just making a helpful hint towards his otherwise excellent journalism ;)

Not everything she does is so easily weaponised, Steve. Unfortunately, bigots are in the ascendancy. And while most of the 'relative' political centre try to develop narratives that might best counter them, it's clear that stunts like Greta's not only don't help, they're instantly regressive.

Fire Brigade. Why?

It's getting 'far' more traction with the 'wrong' people. That's the real point.

Only put stuff in brackets that help you to make the point you're making clearer. (For e.g: don't write stuff that might lead the "hard of thinking" to believe you think it's ok to shoot some in the media, but not others... while it's already quite clear it's not ok to shoot anyone in the media ;)

We've survived as a species due to countless evolving individual physical & cognitive traits that chaotically drive our social behaviour. Co-op & care are strong, but you can't discount other powerful selective advantages that don't accord with your own world-view. (You probably already know this.)

It is obviously a long term thing but a very important one. Schools in Finland offer an interesting example. They teach Media literacy and the ability to detect fake news to children from age 5. Plus libraries, schools, universities. Anything that encourages independent thought should be prioritized.
